Secret Name

A poem

Sometimes
I don’t even know
what to call you anymore.

All the old labels
tumble around in my mouth
like rocks.

I walk about
in a cloud of unknowning, 

my tongue falls silent.

Will you come to me 
in the stillness
and whisper your secret name?
