A poem
💛💛💛
Currently between the second and third stanzas.
Again.
Ugh.
The Shadows were rattling my doorknob last week. I hope this poem is a little hand, or just a finger. ❤️
What a beautiful poem Chris. 🥹👂🎁
Thanks Nate 🙏🏻
“Companionably” is a word that was so perfect here and I don’t ever recall seeing it anywhere else.
It also sounds like a word you'd read in a Jane Austen novel 😄
Totally.
I was trying to get at the idea of learning to accept all the experiences and parts of ourselves. A phrase that my spiritual director has given me, that I think she sort of got from Thich Nhat Hanh, is "Hello my little darkness".
